Bio
A native of Houma, Louisiana Sharon joined her step-father in his notarial practice upon earning her commission in 1984. The office has served Terrebonne, Lafourche, St. Mary and Assumption Parishes since 1956. Sharon and Robert, her husband of 44 years, have continued the business legacy since his death in 1995. Diversifying the business, they now own and operate an independent Louisiana Motor Vehicle Office; Toups Notary Public Service & Public Tag Agency. Sharon earned her notarial statewide jurisdiction in 2012. Their daughter, Haley Toups Tivet, manages and co-owns Toups & Associates Insurance Agency, LLC which offers notary bonds and/or E & O insurance coverage to many of our members. Sharon holds a producer license in Life, Health and Property & Casualty. Their eldest daughter, Talia T. Scott, has also worked in the family business.
