The Louisiana Notary Association held its second swearing-in ceremony for the year on May 29. New notaries who passed the notarial exam held on April 6 were invited to be officially sworn in by the Secretary of State in an event held at the Main Branch of the East Baton Rouge Parish Library. The event featured guest speakers Scott Kirkpatrick, LNA Lobbyist; Alan Jennings, LNA Legislative Liaison and Kyle Ardoin, Secretary of State. The ceremony closed with 21 new notaries receiving their oaths of office followed by a reception.
