Amanda K. Vaussine is a Lafayette native who is passionate about her family, Cajun culture, and her work. Ms. Vaussine passed the Statewide Louisiana Notary Exam in 2012 and now teaches the Louisiana Notary Exam Prep Course at SLCC in Lafayette. She is also employed with Dunn Mortgage & Associates as a Mortgage Loan Originator and she facilitates mortgage signings for United Title of Louisiana. Amanda has a son, Benjamin, 7, who loves playing with Legos and reading books. She has a daughter, Nichole, 14, who has a strong interest in the medical field and plays flute. Ms. Vaussine stays true to ethics and values, and her mission is to uphold the good name of notaries public in the State of Louisiana. She believes in the importance of continuing education, honesty, integrity, and, of course, the necessity of having a good sense of humor.
