Toye Mosley
Bio
Toye Mosley, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, is a true champion for continued education with a tireless commitment serving her local community. Toye was commissioned as a Louisiana Notary Public in 2015 in Bossier Parish and is qualified with statewide jurisdiction. Having just recently joined the LNA in 2018, Toye was eager and wiling to roll up her sleeves and actively participate in continuing to move the association forward. She pursued and obtained a B.S. in Political Science at McNeese State University, where she successfully served as an Ambassador for the University and Editor-in-Chief of the University's yearbook, among other notable affiliations. She is currently pursuing her Master Degree in International Business and is seeking to expand her horizons. Her wealth of knowledge as a writer, paralegal, interpreter, and notary have aided her in exchanges with people from all walks of life, in personal and professional sectors. With over 10 years of personal injury, estate planning, insurance defense, and probate law experience, she has served as a proud paralegal to local attorneys in the northwestern region of Louisiana. Outside of the legal realm, she is an avid volunteer in her local community. She is a proud volunteer with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), where she writes court reports, monitors case plans and court orders, working closely with DCFS and others to ensure the best placement for abused and neglected children. Other organizations she is affiliated with are Deaf Grassroots Movement, Young Professional Initiative of NWLA, the NAACP, the ACLU and The Innocence Project. Toye is eager to serve her notary community in various ways, including establishing LNA's first Shop Talk in the Northwest/Northeast LA region ("Port City" Shop Talk).
