Paula Vincent Johnson is the Founder and Managing Member of Notary In The East. LLC, located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Paula obtained her paralegal certificate from the University of New Orleans Paralegal Institute in 1991. She was commissioned as a notary public in 1995. She worked as a legal secretary and litigation paralegal before starting her own notarial practice in 2004, where she specializes in mandates, wills, affidavits of small succession, and straightforward real estate transfers. With more than 30 years in the legal field, Paula has been giving back to other notaries by being an active member of the LNA instructing courses at the convention, and speaking at Shop Talk meetings. She served as Shop Talk Coordinator for the New Orleans area from 2007 until 2009.
